I was beginning to think I would never find anything to work under my makeup. Everything balls and pills on me. But after testing about 20 sunscreens, I found some holy grails for me.

Sunscreens Over 50 That You Should Try

Sunscreen is a vital part of skin care for many women over 50.

The skin becomes thinner, more sensitive, and more vulnerable to sun damage as we age.

Sunscreen is not just for the face; it should be applied to all exposed areas of the body.

Sunscreens are rated by their sun protection factor (SPF). Choose a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15 that offers broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays.

You HAVE to use Sunscreen!

Sunscreen is important for everyone, but it becomes even more important as we age. We need to take extra precautions to avoid UV damage and skin cancer.

As we age, our skin becomes less elastic. This means that the sun’s rays can penetrate deep into the skin and cause damage.

The sun’s rays can also accelerate the aging process by breaking down collagen and elastin in the skin, which leads to wrinkles and sagging skin.

Sunscreen is a crucial part of any skincare routine because it prevents UV damage and reduces your risk of developing skin cancer or other conditions like photoaging, hyperpigmentation, or melasma.

It also helps protect against premature aging caused by sun exposure.
